SEVERN RIVER MENS RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB
Severn River Men's Rugby Football Club competes in the Central North Division of the Mid-Atlantic Rugby Union and the Capital Geographic Union. The Men's Club was founded over 40 years ago and has been a staple of the Mid Atlantic Rugby community ever since. We play Division 3 and Division 4, 15's throughout the Fall and Spring Competitive seasons and 7's in the Summer. We offer training and skills opportunities year round including indoor workouts.
Located just minutes from Annapolis (Maryland's State Capital) and centered between Baltimore and Wahington, D.C., our Home Pitch serves as a premiere training facility for the Mid-Atlantic, playing host to both Championship Events and Select Side Showcases along with our Home Matches. We are located behind the American Legion Post 175 at 832 Manhattan Beach Road in Severna Park.
Severn River Men have enjoyed a long history of success on the field. Severn River is always recruiting players and welcomes players of all ages and skill levels to come out and be a part of the winning tradition. The club works to provide opportunities for development alongside competitive play and has a level of rugby suited for everyone. Athletes from all walks of life including ex-football, basketball, wrestling and track stars have joined the club and have contributed to the team’s success almost instantaneously. Collegiate rugby players often choose to come to Severn River as the Mid Atlantic has a wealth of job opportunities for up and coming professionals and we provide a network your young athletes looking to join a good team.
Our coaching staff is compromised of both American and International Certified Coaches, who strive to provide the highest levels of integrity in the game. They bring a wealth of knowledge and strategy that is second to none. We strive to provide a basis of growth for our players in the sport and a personal and professional network for our athletes and fans.
